The Reportage Club is pleased to announce that between Monday-Friday every week a Community News Cafe will be open at the Phoenix Square Film & Digital Media Centre.
Community reporters who volunteer their time with Citizens' Eye will operate the drop-in and be on hand to answer questions about being involved with the community news agency, social media in general and collect any stories/articles for posting on Citizens' Eye and possible publication in the Leicester Mercury.
2 sessions will be held in each hour in addition to general article writing and community news article support.
1. Twitter in 20 - an overview of your twitter use or supporting to establish a twitter feed and creating your first tweet - all in 20 minutes!
2. Facebook in 40 - an overview of your facebook use or supporting to establish a facebook presence - should you have a group or a page? All in 40 minutes.
The daily time will be 2.30-3.30pm in the Screen Lounge at Phoenix Square.
